On July 10th
Saint Petersburg will first host the open water long-distance swimming competitions:
● Sea mile (1852 meters),
● 3000 meters distance,
● 5000 meters distance.

The venue of the competitions is unique – Kopanskoe lake in Sosnovy bor which is very popular with locals and is a historical place too. Its sandy beach, incredibly clean and transparent water ideally fit the open water competitions, and the large size of the lake allows plotting the routes for all distances in just one lap. Sportsmen can enjoy the picturesque views and show great results on one of three distances.
As any other A1 start, A1 SWIM will have high level of organization and conduct and is a real sport festival for all swimming lovers! Starting packet includes the swimming cap, timekeeping, a finisher´s medal and the meal after finish. Competitors can also recover themselves in sauna after the race. Competitors and spectators will have memorable entertainment show; prizes and awarding ceremony are waiting for the winners!
