On the 18th of March 2015 at 13.00 p.m. in the TASS press center will be a press conference of the Organization Committee of the international triathlon race – the A1 TRIATHLON Saint Petersburg.

On the 5th of July 2015 Saint Petersburg will host the first international long distance triathlon race the A1 TRIATHLON Saint Petersburg. The event will take place in Sestroretsk city. The race has three sequential stages: swimming in open water – 1,9 km, cycle race - 90 km, running – 21 km. Triathlon is an unique endurance race. 1, 500 professional and amateur athletes will take part in this race.

The race will attend:

Mr Avdeev, the head of the Saint Petersburg Sports Committee;
Mr Kuimov, the head the Administration of Kurortny district;
Mr Osokin, the head of the Organizing Committee the A1 TRIATHLON Saint Petersburg;
Mr Nikitin, the director of the A1 TRIATHLON Saint Petersburg, the winner and awardee of international triathlon races;
The representatives of the Saint Petersburg Triathlon Federation.
